BEHIND THE MIND OF CREATIVE DESIGNER DEION SMITH 

  Deion Smith is an artist that is a perfectionist—constantly worrying about the quality of his work and how it will be digested by those who view it. This website will feature all the creative work done this semester in Digital Art 2. All creative work includes the process of research, brainstorming, and trial and error. Most humans learn lessons from attempting and failing. However, Smith thrives off failure. “The more times you fail, the more opportunities you have to get better.” -Smith. 

   Smith was Born in Houston, Texas, On December 28th, 1999. He began his collegiate lifestyle in 2018 when he was an undergraduate student-athlete at the University of Colorado Boulder. While focusing on balancing the load of both the classroom and the football field, Smith graduated in the spring of 2022 with a major in Journalism and minors in leadership and ethnic studies. Throughout his time in undergrad and high school, Smith learned that he had a passion for creativity, thus leading to his interest in the digital side of journalism and business. Pursuing a career in Creative Product Design, Smith aims to sharpen his skills and build his portfolio for life after football.
